We believe learning is too important not to be engaging
Escaply started with a simple observation: when a lesson becomes an adventure, something shifts in the classroom. Students lean in, talk to each other, try again and push a little harder to move forward.
That’s where Escaply begins: in the power that arises when learning becomes engaging, clear and possible for more students.
Why we exist
Escaply is built by people with backgrounds in schools, pedagogy, technology and digital learning. We’ve seen what engaging teaching can do - not just that lessons get more fun, but that more students understand, take part and dare to try.
We’ve also seen the flip side. It takes time to create teaching that feels alive, varied and accessible. And far too often, good ideas stay with one teacher, in a single classroom.
Escaply exists so more teachers can create those experiences - and more students can take part in them.
What we believe
It’s often the way into it. When students want to continue, they also dare to try for longer.
Students don’t all share the same language, reading ability, motivation or needs. So teaching has to offer more ways in.
AI and digital tools should lighten the teacher’s load - not replace judgement, relationships or pedagogical responsibility.
When more teachers can build on each other’s ideas, more students get access to engaging learning.
How we work
We build Escaply together with the teachers who use the platform. Many of our best ideas start in a real classroom: a teacher who wants to reach one more student, a group that needs to practise a different way, or a subject that needs to become more concrete. We listen, test, change and keep building.
Escaply isn’t something we want to solve for schools. It’s something we want to develop with them.
Where we’re headed
Our goal is easy to say and hard to reach: to give every student a greater chance to understand, take part and succeed. So we build a platform where teachers can create interactive learning adventures with storytelling, game mechanics, AI support and accessibility built in from the start.
We build learning that students want to get through - and we keep building every day.
